Full job description

Job Summary
We are seeking skilled Bench joiners/Cabinet makers to join their team, specialising in the fabrication and assembly of bespoke joinery-cabinetry. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in joinery manufacturing and the use of various hand tools, power tools and machinery. This role offers an excellent opportunity to contribute to high-quality joinery projects, ensuring precision and craftsmanship in every task. Applicants should be organised, detail-oriented, and capable of working efficiently within a team environment.

Duties

Fabricate customised joinery items according to technical drawings and specifications
Assemble structural elements using hand tools, power tools, and joinery techniques
Operate woodworking machinery safely and effectively for cutting, shaping, and finishing materials
Perform heavy lifting of materials and finished products to facilitate smooth workflow
Maintain a clean and organised workshop environment to ensure safety standards are met
Collaborate with managers and other tradespeople to meet project deadlines and quality standards if required

Skills

Proven experience in joinery fabrication and assembly
Competence in operating power tools including drills, sanders, routers, and saws
Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently
Strong organisational skills with attention to detail
Good communication skills and ability to work both independently and as part of a team
