Are you an enthusiastic hard-worker, reliable and quick thinking, with a talent for customer service?

Here at Salted Orange Food Company, we offer a high quality, bespoke service to clients and have a reputation for excellent service. As part of this team, you would have to be committed to these values.

We are Hykeham based, but events can see us travel all over Lincolnshire and beyond.

What is the role?
We have positions available for part-time bar staff applicants over the age of 18. In this position, you will mainly be serving an array of drinks to guests, clearing and cleaning as you work. You will be working with chefs, managers, and other catering assistants effectively, to ensure a smooth delivery of service. Many of our events are weddings and large parties but no two days are the same.

As a bartender you will need:

Good physical strength, stamina, and the ability to work fast, to a high standard under pressure.
Attention to detail and the ability to multitask.
Good verbal and written communication skills.
Great customer service skills.
Be professional and highly organised.
General maths skills.
Wanting to learn & develop - we want you to grow with us!
The desire and motivation to work in a high standard, fine-dining style environment.
Ability to maintain cleanliness and proper sanitation.
Have a friendly, professional persona and you must be a strong team player.
You pride yourself on putting the guest at the heart of everything you do and going the extra mile to always create a memorable guest experience.
You thrive on teamwork and support your team and management to guarantee we deliver a fully positive, fine dining experience.
You are keen to use your interpersonal skills, energy and passion for food to ensure the highest standards and performance targets are constantly achieved.

What we can offer you

Flexible and positive working environment
Training and development
Staff meals on shifts over 7 hours
An increase to £10 per hour once your initial training period is complete

Requirements

Must be reliable, professional and presentable
Must be 18 or over.

Applicants must be willing to work evenings and weekends.
Must be willing to travel to events and will preferably drive their own vehicle, although this is not essential.
Those with previous customer service/hospitality experience are preferred and you must be eager to learn. All applicants must be fully eligible to work in the UK.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: From £14.00 per hour

Some of our events run until late, meaning that you might not finish work until 1amm. Are you able to safely travel to and from work at this time?
Our industry's peak period is May-September, are you available at the time of year?
