Overview

We are seeking a skilled and reliable Commercial Painter / Powder Coater to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for applying high-quality paint and powder coating finishes to various commercial and industrial products. This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals with a keen eye for detail, good communication skills, and experience in construction painting or related fields. The position requires a proactive approach to ensure all work is completed to the highest standards, adhering to safety regulations and client specifications.

Responsibilities

Prepare surfaces by cleaning, sanding, and masking to ensure optimal paint adhesion
Apply primer, paint, or powder coating using brushes, rollers, spray guns, or specialised equipment
Ensure colour matching and finish quality meet company standards and client expectations
Operate equipment safely and efficiently, maintaining proper handling of tools and materials
Follow health and safety protocols at all times to maintain a safe working environment
Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors regarding project progress and any issues encountered
Maintain organisation of tools, supplies, and work areas to promote efficiency and safety

Experience

Previous experience in construction painting or powder coating is highly desirable
Good command of English language for clear communication on-site
Proven ability to work independently as well as part of a team
Strong communication skills to liaise effectively with colleagues and clients
Knowledge of safety procedures related to painting and coating operations

Pay: £14.50-£15.50 per hour
