Full job description

Job Summary
We are seeking highly skilled and motivated Chef's at various levels to join our dynamic culinary team.

The ideal candidates will possess strong leadership qualities, extensive kitchen experience, and a passion for delivering exceptional fresh produce and food quality.

As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will assist the Head Chef in overseeing daily operations, supervising kitchen personnel, and ensuring the highest standards of food safety and presentation are maintained. This paid position offers an excellent opportunity to develop your culinary career within a vibrant hospitality environment.

Responsibilities

Assist the Head Chef in managing daily kitchen operations, including food preparation and production.
Supervise and support kitchen staff to ensure efficient workflow and high-quality output.
Oversee food safety standards and ensure compliance with health regulations at all times.
Prepare fresh ingredients and dishes in line with established recipes and presentation standards.
Manage inventory levels, order supplies, and minimise waste to maintain cost efficiency.
Lead by example in maintaining cleanliness, organisation, and safety within the kitchen environment.
Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure seamless service delivery.
Contribute to menu planning and development, incorporating innovative ideas whilst maintaining consistency.
Assist in training new team members and fostering a positive team atmosphere.

Qualifications

Proven supervising experience within a professional kitchen setting.
Extensive background in fresh food production, culinary arts, and food preparation.
Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage and motivate a team effectively.
Solid understanding of food safety regulations and best practices in hospitality environments.
Previous restaurant experience is required, with knowledge of serving standards advantageous.
Excellent cooking skills across various cuisines and techniques.
Experience in hospitality management or similar roles is preferred but not essential.
Ability to work under pressure whilst maintaining attention to detail. This role offers an exciting opportunity for passionate culinary professionals eager to advance their careers within a supportive team environment dedicated to excellence in hospitality.

Pay: £28,000.00-£50,000.00 per year
