Job Introduction

Job Title: Housing and Care Assistant Nights

Salary: £14.23 per hour

Location: Walkers Wood, Donnington, Telford, TF2 7FF

Hours/Contract: 20 hours per week/ Permanent

About Walkers Wood:

Walkers Wood has 76 Apartments where we support 12 Apartments in a secure location of the building for individuals with a diagnosis of Dementia and also support 17 individuals with a variety of needs. We support with personal care, Medication support, Meal preparation, Domestic support, Social and also shopping.

In this role as a Nights Housing and Care Assistant, along with supporting the residents, you will ensure their safety and security by conducting nightly rounds around the building and preparing for tasks for the following day.

We are looking for individuals who can demonstrate that they up hold our values, to ensure that the services to our customers are excellent. As a Night Housing and Assistant, you will bring the below values and behaviours:

Caring - Placing individuals at the heart of the care, ensuring services are delivered with empathy, dignity, respect, inclusivity and integrity at all times.
Compassion - Requires a level of consideration, patience, empathy and understanding towards others people’s situation and their needs.

Courage - Not to be fearful of trying new things to improve the quality of care and raise any concerns proactively.
Commitment - Provide a positive environment, with flexible and a proactive approach to our customer’s needs, helping to make each day special. Working collaboratively with colleagues and be accountable for providing services that make a positive difference to people’s lives.
