Full job description

A position has become available for a Self employed part time qualified Sports/Deep Tissue Massage Therapist to join a small family based team of Chiropractic and Spinal therapist.

We are looking for someone who is hardworking, energetic, would like to see a list full of clients. We can help you build your list .

1 year experience as Sports Massage Therapist desirable , however not essential NEW GRADUATES are welcome to apply for this job. We are looking for someone who is Bristol based or can commute from near by area. We are looking for someone who can join with a positive attitude.

We at Reco Spinal centre want you to become part of our fun and energetic team, need to be caring and want to give great customer service. This position is part time essentially starting on a Wednesday afternoon 1-7 pm , you will also need to be avalaible for our team meeting 10-12pm on a Tuesday . Starting 1 day per week with a long term opportunity to grow from intermediate to senior level. You will be provided on job training absolutely complementary for team members.

You will get training how to build yourself a happy client list , and be able to lead a client successfully, retain your clients and get them better. We believe in supporting each other as a team.

The location of our centre is Reco Spinal Centre, 175 Southmead Road , Westbury on Trym , Bristol , BS10 5DT

As a Massage Therapist, you will have the opportunity to help clients improve their overall well-being through the power of touch. Working alongside our team of Spinal therapists and Chiropractors. You will be responsible for providing high-quality massage treatments tailored to each client's specific needs. Your knowledge of anatomy will allow you to effectively target problem areas and provide relief from pain and tension. In addition, your excellent communication skills will enable you to build rapport with clients and create a comfortable and relaxing environment.

Essential

- qualified or qualifying in deep tissue / sports massage

- Living in Bristol or nearby area and can drive

- Want to become part of a great team and be a great team player

- Is happy to be coached to become the best you can be

- Wants to build a busy client list

- Is happy to attend team meetings and training days.

- Wants to help educate a client on posture and work closely with the chiropractor, spinal therapist and other team members

Responsibilities:
- Provide professional and therapeutic massage treatments to clients
- Assess clients' needs and create customized treatment plans
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date client records
- Educate clients on the benefits of regular massage therapy
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals as needed

Skills:
- Strong knowledge of anatomy and physiology
- Proficient in various massage techniques, including Swedish, deep tissue, and sports massage
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to adapt techniques based on client preferences and needs
- Strong time management and organizational skills

We would also welcome graduating students who are going to get qualified by mid or end of this year and looking for few hours a week or placement hours.
