Full job description

Brocket Hall is seeking a professional and friendly Receptionist to join our team. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for visitors and members, delivering exceptional customer service and ensuring a smooth and welcoming experience. You will manage daily reception duties including greeting guests, handling enquiries, managing bookings, and supporting general administrative tasks.

Key Responsibilities:

Greet and welcome visitors, members, and guests in a warm and professional manner.
Manage telephone, email and in-person enquiries efficiently and professionally.
Handle bookings and appointments for various services offered at Brocket Hall.
Process payments and manage general queries.
Maintain the reception area to a high standard of cleanliness and organisation.
Support other departments with administrative duties and communications.
Deliver food and beverage services as required by the company.

Requirements

Previous experience in a receptionist or customer service role.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Organised, detail-oriented and comfortable working with booking and management systems.
Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently and remain calm under pressure.
Friendly and approachable personality with a customer-focused attitude.
Flexibility to work evenings, weekends and bank holidays as required.
Ability to work well both independently and as part of a team.
