Job Summary

FREE space available in luxurious boutique clinic right in the heart of Chester City Centre

Upto 4 chairs available

High-end clientele opportunity for race days, weddings and event make-up

We are seeking a talented and passionate Freelance Makeup Artist to join our creative team. This role offers flexible working arrangements, allowing you to showcase your artistry at various events, photoshoots, and client appointments. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail, excellent communication skills, and a strong commitment to delivering exceptional customer service. As a Freelance Makeup Artist, you will have the opportunity to build your portfolio and work with diverse clients in a dynamic environment.

Responsibilities

Apply makeup professionally for a variety of occasions including weddings, photoshoots, fashion shows, and special events.
Consult with clients to understand their preferences and desired looks.
Maintain high standards of hygiene and cleanliness of all makeup tools and products.
Stay updated with the latest makeup trends, techniques, and products.
Manage appointments efficiently, ensuring punctuality and excellent customer service.
Provide advice on skincare and makeup products suitable for individual clients.
Collaborate with photographers, stylists, and other creative professionals to achieve desired visual outcomes.

Requirements

Proven experience in makeup application with a strong portfolio demonstrating versatility.
Excellent communication skills in English to effectively liaise with clients and team members.
Strong customer service skills with the ability to understand and meet client expectations.
Knowledge of current makeup trends, techniques, and products.
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while maintaining professionalism.
Organised approach to scheduling appointments and managing multiple clients.
Must be reliable, punctual, and committed to delivering high-quality results. This role offers the flexibility to work on various projects while honing your craft within a supportive environment. We welcome passionate individuals eager to grow their freelance career in the beauty industry.

This is a Self-employed position

A recognised make-up application qualification is required for this role

Pay: £1.00-£60.00 per hour
