Full job description

24 hours a week

No pharmacy experience necessary – you will be fully trained with opportunities for dispensing qualification and further studies. You will be dealing with the day to day running of the dispensary.

Essential Skills

Ability to communicate effectively

Be able to organise your work systematically
Be able to work in a high paced environment

The Role

As a Pharmacy dispenser, you will have an attractive role and open a new career pathway for yourself. You will become an important member of our pharmacy team; ensuring customers receive an excellent service when visiting our pharmacy. You will be dealing with the day to day running of the dispensary. We will help you to progress your role where we will give you training opportunity via NPA (National Pharmaceutical Association) so that you can do further study for pharmacy qualifications by becoming a Technician or an Accuracy Technician (ACT). You should have the confidence in good customer skills, ability to communicate and question effectively, be able to multi task and be willing to be versatile in your role. You should be able to work in a high paced environment and be able to organise your work systematically.

Applicants with no pharmacy experience are welcome to apply, training will be provided.

We offer pharmacy service to the local population in Fordingbridge and work very closely with various health care professionals in the area such as GP surgeries, Drug and Alcohol Team, Care Homes, Out of Hours service and offer weekly nomad trays to community patients. It is a high paced environment. When we bring you on board it is with the full intention of giving you the opportunity and tools to build your skills and develop your career.
