Full job description

Job Overview

We are seeking an enthusiastic Wedding and Events Coordinator to lead the planning, organization, and execution of memorable events. Please note that this is maternity cover, but with a future permanent position. In this role, you will serve as the primary point of contact for clients, ensuring their vision is brought to life with exceptional service and attention to detail. Your energetic approach will help create seamless experiences that leave lasting impressions. Admin tasks are also a part of the job.

Responsibilities

Answer all enquiries
Collaborate closely with clients to understand their event goals, preferences, and budgets, providing expert guidance throughout the planning process
Coordinate all logistical details including venue setup, catering arrangements, entertainment
Upsell additional services such as premium packages, enhancements, or upgrades
Manage timelines efficiently to ensure all event components are executed flawlessly
Maintain clear communication with FOH and kitchen
Oversee event setup and breakdown
Provide exceptional guest services during events, addressing any issues promptly and professionally to enhance overall experience

Qualifications

Proven experience in hospitality, restaurant service, hotel management, or event planning
Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects
Strong communication skills
Knowledge of hospitality operations
Passion for delivering outstanding guest services in fast-paced environments
