1. Demand Planner

Graduate Trainee Dover |£28,000 per annum | Full‑time, Permanent

We are looking for graduates who want to build a career in demand planning and operations within a growing, innovative UK manufacturer. If you are analytical, well-organised, and motivated to make an early impact, we would love to hear from you.

Your Opportunity

Take ownership of our demand and production planning cycle and play a central role in keeping our UK manufacturing operation running smoothly and efficiently.

Drive forecast accuracy, shape the Master Production Schedule, and manage Capable-to-Promise commitments, working directly with Sales and Production to ensure the right materials are in the right place at the right time.

As a Demand Planner, you will work at the intersection of Sales, Supply Chain, and Production, turning customer demand signals into actionable plans. This is a role where your analysis, planning judgement, and cross-functional collaboration will genuinely influence our operations.

What Will You Be Doing?

Developing and maintaining demand forecasts using sales data and customer input.
Producing and managing the Master Production Schedule (MPS).
Managing Capable-to-Promise (CTP) requests, balancing customer demand with production capacity and material availability to support realistic delivery commitments.
Running MRP to generate material requirements and align with Supply Chain purchasing.
Participating in S&OP meetings and cross-functional planning reviews.
Maintaining accurate planning data in our ERP system and reporting on forecast accuracy and schedule adherence.

Who We’re Looking For

Graduate‑level candidates early in their career.
Analytically minded with a comfortable relationship with data and numbers.
Organised, methodical, and able to manage multiple priorities.
Strong communicator who can work confidently across Sales, Production, and Supply Chain.
Interest in planning, operations, supply chain, or manufacturing roles.
Awareness of planning concepts such as MPS, MRP, or S&OP is an advantage but not essential.

£28,000 starting salary.
Full training in demand planning, MPS, MRP, and our ERP system.
