Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated self employed and skilled Dentist to join our dental practice. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing comprehensive dental care to patients, ensuring optimal oral health and patient satisfaction. This role involves diagnosing dental conditions, developing treatment plans, and performing a variety of dental procedures using advanced technology and techniques. The Dentist will also play a key role in educating patients about oral health and preventive care.

Responsibilities

Conduct thorough examinations of patients' teeth, gums, and oral tissues using clinical skills and medical imaging tools.
Diagnose dental issues based on visual assessments, X-rays, and CAD (Computer-Aided Design) technology.
Develop customised treatment plans tailored to individual patient needs, including restorative, cosmetic, and preventive procedures.
Perform dental procedures such as fillings, extractions, root canals, crowns, bridges, and implants with precision and care.
Utilise CAD software for designing dental restorations and prosthetics to ensure accurate fit and function.
Maintain detailed patient records in compliance with healthcare regulations and practice standards.
Educate patients on oral hygiene practices, preventive measures, and post-treatment care to promote long-term oral health.
Ensure the sterilisation of dental instruments and maintain a clean clinical environment in accordance with health and safety standards.
Stay updated with the latest advancements in dentistry through continuous professional development.

Requirements

Fully qualified Dentist with valid registration with the General Dental Council (GDC).
Proven experience in general dentistry; specialisation is advantageous but not essential.
Strong knowledge of human anatomy related to the oral cavity.
Proficiency in using CAD software for designing dental restorations.
Familiarity with medical imaging techniques such as X-rays to assist in diagnosis and treatment planning.
Excellent manual dexterity and attention to detail during procedures.
Good communication skills to effectively educate patients about their oral health.
Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
