Are you a proactive individual with a keen eye for detail and a commitment to public safety? We're looking for a dedicated Security Officer to join our team at the bustling Shopping Centre. This is an opportunity to play a vital role in ensuring a safe and welcoming environment for shoppers, staff, and tenants alike.

Key Responsibilities

As a Security Officer, you'll be the first line of defence in maintaining a secure atmosphere. Your daily duties will include:

Patrolling: Regularly patrol the shopping centre, including car parks, to deter criminal activity and identify potential risks.
Incident Response: Respond promptly and professionally to all security incidents, emergencies, and alarms.
Customer Service: Act as a visible point of contact for the public, providing assistance and information while maintaining a professional and approachable demeanour.
Surveillance: Monitor CCTV cameras to identify and address suspicious behaviour.
Reporting: Prepare detailed and accurate incident reports, logs, and statements.
Enforcement: Enforce shopping centre rules and regulations to ensure a safe and orderly environment.

What We're Looking For

We're seeking a candidate who is not only vigilant but also has strong interpersonal skills. The ideal applicant will have:

Experience: Previous experience in a security role is preferred, especially within a retail or public-facing environment.
Qualifications: A valid SIA (Security Industry Authority) license is essential.
Skills: Excellent communication, problem-solving, and conflict resolution skills are a must.
Availability: Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends, and public holidays, is required.
Professionalism: The ability to remain calm under pressure and act with integrity at all times.
