Job Summary

About the role

The Procurement and Contracts Manager is responsible for leading and managing all procurement, purchasing, contract management, and supplier relationships across the Southern Hospice Group. The role will ensure the organisation achieves value for money, maintains robust governance and compliance, and secures high-quality goods, services, and works that support the delivery of outstanding hospice care and retail operations.

The postholder will oversee procurement activities through the Group's Purchase-to-Pay (P2P) system, manage major contracts and supplier performance, support capital projects and refurbishments, coordinate vehicle leasing arrangements, and lead negotiations relating to retail property acquisitions, lease management, new retail developments and the closure or disposal of retail premises

You'll be

The Procurement and Contracts Manager is expected to:

Contribute to the achievement of the Hospice Group's strategic objectives.
Build effective working relationships across all departments and hospice entities.
Champion continuous improvement and value for money initiatives.
Act as an ambassador for the Hospice Group and its values.
Ensure the Group is compliant with the Procurement & Purchasing Policy at all times.
