Full job description

Are you a Estimator with a background in construction or building services, looking to join a forward-thinking and growing company where your expertise will directly influence project success?

In this role, you will be responsible for preparing accurate and competitive estimates for a range of projects, analysing specifications and drawings, and working closely with internal teams to deliver cost-effective solutions.

You'll play a key role in the early stages of project delivery, helping to secure new business and ensure projects are set up for success from the outset.

We are looking for someone who is friendly, approachable, and brings a positive, can-do attitude. If you are passionate about delivering successful project outcomes in a key role with scope to develop, we would love to hear from you!

Salary dependent on skills and experience

The Role

Key Responsibilities

Prepare cost estimates and tender submissions.
Review technical drawings, specifications and project documentation.
Assess material, labour, equipment and subcontractor costs.
Obtain supplier and subcontractor quotations.
Identify risks and cost-saving opportunities.
Support project teams with accurate scopes and cost information.
Manage workflow from the receipt of enquiry to tender submission, ensuring quotations are accurate and delivered within agreed timescales
Support the delivery of projects from award through to completion, liaising with site teams, subcontractors, and clients to ensure smooth project delivery
Maintain estimating records and cost databases.

Skills & Experience

3+ years previous estimating experience within construction/commercial fit-out
Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications.
Strong numerical, analytical and commercial skills.
Knowledge of industry standards (CDM 2015) and commitment to Health & Safety and industry legislation
Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks and meet deadlines
Excellent communication and negotiation skills
Motivated to develop and build a long-term career within a growing company

Pay: £35,000.00-£40,000.00 per year
