Job Summary

Join a prestigious site as a Security Officer dedicated to maintaining a safe, secure, and welcoming environment. In this vital role, you will be responsible for safeguarding the premises through vigilant surveillance, loss prevention strategies, and prompt response to security incidents. Your proactive approach will ensure the safety of all personnel, visitors, and assets while upholding the highest standards of security professionalism. This position offers an exciting opportunity to be part of a dynamic team committed to excellence and integrity. THIS IS A PART TIME ROLE SATURDAYS/SUNDAYS AND BANK HOLIDAYS 07:00HRS-19:00HRS

Duties

Monitor the premises continuously using CCTV systems to identify suspicious activity and ensure safety protocols are followed
Conduct regular surveillance patrols throughout the site to deter theft, vandalism, and unauthorized access
Implement loss prevention measures by inspecting bags, packages, and personnel as needed
Respond swiftly and effectively to security incidents or emergencies, including providing first aid when necessary
Maintain detailed records of security activities, incident reports, and surveillance logs for accountability and review
Control access points by verifying credentials of employees, visitors, contractors, and vendors
Collaborate with emergency services and internal teams to coordinate responses during incidents or alarms

Skills

Strong knowledge of surveillance techniques and CCTV operation for effective monitoring
Experience in loss prevention strategies to minimize theft and asset loss
Ability to perform first aid procedures confidently in emergency situations
Excellent observational skills with keen attention to detail during patrols and surveillance tasks
Clear communication skills for reporting incidents accurately and liaising with emergency responders
Ability to remain calm under pressure while managing multiple security responsibilities
Physical stamina to stand, walk, or sit for extended periods during shifts
