Full job description

Job Description

The Application Development Team is looking for an enthusiastic .NET developer with experience developing APIs and Applications in C#. Knowledge of Controller-based APIs, ASP.NET Core, Entity Framework Core, and common development patterns and practices is essential, as is experience with a git-based source control system (preferably Azure DevOps). Knowledge of .NET MAUI and Microsoft Graph, along with a working knowledge of WCAG 2.2 and its applicability to the public sector is also highly desirable, as is familiarity with Fluent Validation, Polly, Flurl, Humanizer, and related packages.

You will play a key role in the design, development and support of council-wide IT in-house applications, through a high standard of technical skills, knowledge and ability.
There is a responsibility for the post holder to demonstrate a commitment to quality service delivery through continuous improvement for the benefit of the Service and the organisation.
