Full job description

Role Overview:
We're seeking a skilled Bicycle Mechanic with expertise in servicing and repairing electric and cargo bikes. The ideal candidate will have a passion for cycling and possess specialised knowledge in servicing and repairing electric and cargo bikes, with a specific focus on VanMoof and Tern bikes.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform diagnostics and provide basic and full services and maintenance on all cargo and e-bikes.
Provide bicycle checks to ensure optimal performance and safety standards.
Assist customers in selecting appropriate electric or cargo bike models and accessories, providing expert advice and recommendations.
Keep abreast of industry trends and technological advancements in electric and cargo bicycles.
Collaborate with the sales team to provide technical support and assistance during customer interactions.
Maintain a clean and organised workspace, adhering to safety protocols and procedures.

Requirements:

Minimum 3 years as a bicycle mechanic with at least 1 year focused on servicing electric bikes.
Strong technical knowledge of electric bike systems, including motors, batteries, controllers, and wiring.
Proficiency in diagnosing and repairing mechanical and electrical issues.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Passion for cycling and commitment to delivering high-quality service to customers.
Servicing of VanMoof bikes is desirable.
A driving licence is desirable.
