Full job description

Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and reliable General Builder to join our construction team. The successful candidate will be responsible for carrying out a wide range of building tasks, ensuring projects are completed to high standards, on time, and within safety regulations. This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals with diverse construction skills to contribute to various projects, from residential to commercial developments.

Duties

Undertake carpentry tasks including framing, fitting doors, windows, and cabinetry.
Perform roofing work, including installation, repairs, and maintenance of roof structures.
Carry out construction painting to prepare surfaces and achieve desired finishes.
Install and repair plumbing systems (not essentia)
Execute masonry work such as bricklaying, blockwork, and concrete finishing.
Utilise hand tools and power tools efficiently for various construction activities.
Kitchens, Bathrooms and Landscaping
Maintain a clean and safe work environment, adhering to health and safety regulations at all times.

Skills

Proven experience in carpentry, roofing, masonry, or related trades.
Knowledge of construction painting techniques and finishing processes.
Basic plumbing skills with the ability to install or repair piping systems. (Not essential)
Proficiency in using hand tools such as hammers, saws, chisels, and screwdrivers.
Competence with power tools including drills, grinders, saws, and sanders.
Ability to interpret technical drawings and fabrication plans accurately.
Strong organisational skills with attention to detail and safety procedures.
Physical fitness to undertake demanding manual tasks in various weather conditions. This position is ideal for motivated individuals eager to develop their skills across multiple trades within the construction industry while contributing effectively to diverse building projects.

Driving License not essential

Pay: £170.00-£210.00 per day
