Full job description

Overview
We’re looking for a reliable and confident Supervisor to join the team. The role is hands-on and suited to someone who enjoys a busy pub environment, can lead by example during fast-paced shifts, keep the team motivated, handle customer issues calmly, and help keep day-to-day service running smoothly. Previous hospitality or supervisory experience is preferred, along with good people skills, common sense, and flexibility for evenings and weekends. Responsibilities

Supervise and coordinate the daily activities of bar staff to ensure efficient service delivery
Manage the team , delegate tasks, and motivate staff to achieve performance goals
Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and uphold hygiene standards across all areas
Serve drinks to guests in a professional and friendly manner
Handle customer enquiries and resolve any issues promptly to maintain high guest satisfaction
Train new staff members on service procedures, safety protocols, and company policies
Maintain cleanliness of the bar area in accordance with health and safety regulations

Requirements

Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage and motivate a team effectively
Experience in serving beverages and understanding of bar operations
Excellent organisational skills with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced setting
Previous hotel or restaurant experience is advantageous
Demonstrated commitment to hospitality excellence and customer service
Ability to work evenings and weekends

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: £14.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30.0 per week

Work Location: In person
