Part-Time Office Administrator

South West Fire Doors (SWFD) – Banwell, North Somerset

Pay: From £12.80 per hour (depending on experience)

About Us

South West Fire Doors (SWFD) are specialists in the inspection, maintenance and installation of fire doors across the South West. We work with residential, commercial and public sector clients, helping them remain safe and compliant with fire safety legislation.

As our company continues to grow, we're looking for a friendly, organised and reliable Part-Time Office Administrator to join our team.

The Role

This is a varied administration role based in our small, quiet and friendly office in Banwell.

We're looking for someone who enjoys being organised, takes pride in their work and can confidently manage a variety of daily office tasks. You'll be working alongside the Director and another team member, but you'll also need to be comfortable working independently and managing your own workload.

This role is ideal for someone looking for flexible working hours, including parents returning to work who need to work around school hours.

Hours

Part-time
Flexible hours between 9:00am and 5:00pm, Monday to Friday
School hours can be accommodated for the right candidate

Main Duties

Answer incoming telephone calls and emails
Speak with customers in a friendly and professional manner
Create and update job records
Organise digital files and paperwork
Book appointments and update company calendars
Assist with quotations and follow up estimates
Raise invoices and carry out basic administrative duties
Support the Director and office team with general day-to-day administration

About You

We're looking for someone who is:

Organised and reliable
Friendly and confident speaking with customers
Able to work independently and as part of a small team
Comfortable using Microsoft Office, email and computers
Keen to learn new systems and processes
Someone with previous administration or office experience (preferred)

Experience with Google Workspace or QuickBooks is an advantage, but full QuickBooks training will be provided.
