Job Summary

Braddicks Leisure is seeking a dedicated and experienced Chef de Partie for a seasonal position, offering accommodation.

The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing and cooking high-quality dishes, maintaining kitchen standards, and supporting two kitchen teams in delivering exceptional dining experiences. This role provides an excellent opportunity for professional growth within a friendly and dynamic environment, with the added benefit of on-site accommodation.

Duties

Prepare, cook, and present dishes according to the The Pier House and Waterfront Inn standards and menu specifications
Assist in the organisation and management of kitchen operations during service
Ensure all food safety and hygiene regulations are strictly adhered to at all times
Support all food preparation processes, including meal preparation and plating
Maintain cleanliness and organisation of workstations and kitchen equipment
Collaborate with other team members including front of house to ensure efficient service delivery
Monitor stock levels and assist with inventory control as required

Skills

Proven experience in food preparation and cooking within a professional kitchen environment
Strong knowledge of culinary techniques and meal presentation standards
Familiarity with food safety regulations and best practices in hygiene management
Previous experience working in a restaurant setting or similar hospitality environment
Excellent organisational skills with the ability to work efficiently under pressure
Good communication skills to effectively collaborate with team members and front-of-house staff
Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities during busy service periods
