Full job description

We're looking for a receptionist to join our team. Experience from the dental sector would be an advantage but not essential as you will learn the role on the job alongside our supportive team.

We are looking for someone who can work full time or part time.

Job role:

· Helping patients with making and changing appointments, taking payments and other administrative tasks including record keeping.

· Dealing with patient enquiries via email, post, telephone and in person.

· Supporting the Practice Manager and the clinical team with the smooth running of the practice.

· Making patients aware of our policies, services and offers.

Necessary skills and attributes:

· Friendly, warm and welcoming manner

· Professional & polite

· Good communication skills

· Good organisational skills

· Service-minded

· Helpful, caring and good at working as part of a team

· Able to keep calm, work efficiently and work under pressure

· Thorough and meticulous attention to detail

· Good IT skills - specifically Microsoft Office

· Preferred experience working in a customer service role

· Preferred previous role in admin or reception

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: £13.00 per hour
