Marketing & Social Media Apprentice

Location: Bury St Edmunds

Contract Type: Apprenticeship (Full-time)

Duration: 18 – 24 months

Our @inc coworking spaces in Bury St Edmunds and Southwold bring together a growing community of entrepreneurs, freelancers and small businesses, backed by a team of business advisers, marketing colleagues and site coordinators working across our locations. Beyond @inc, we also manage two further MENTA sites in Bury St Edmunds and Brandon, home to a wide range of tenants — from private offices to fitness, beauty and tattoo studios.

About the Role

We're looking for an enthusiastic and creative Marketing & Social Media Apprentice to join our team. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone starting their career in marketing to gain hands-on experience across social media, content creation, campaigns, and brand communications — while working towards a recognised marketing qualification.

You'll work closely with our marketing team, learning the ropes of digital marketing while contributing real ideas and content that reach our audience from day one.

What You'll Be Doing

Assist in planning, creating, and scheduling content across social media platforms (Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, Facebook, X, etc.)
Help draft engaging copy for social posts, email newsletters, and blog content
Monitor social media channels, respond to comments/messages, and track engagement
Support the team with basic graphic design and short-form video editing (Canva, CapCut, or similar tools)
Assist with market research and competitor analysis
Help track and report on campaign performance using analytics tools
Support the planning and promotion of events, launches, or campaigns
Contribute fresh ideas for content trends and audience engagement
Assist with general marketing administrative tasks

What We're Looking For

A genuine interest in marketing, social media, and content creation
Strong written communication skills
Familiarity with social media platforms and current trends
Basic knowledge of tools like Canva, Adobe Express, or similar (a plus, not required)
A proactive, curious attitude and willingness to learn
Good organisational skills and attention to detail
Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
No prior professional experience required — this role is designed for someone at the start of their career
