This role involves operating flatbed vehicles to deliver goods efficiently and safely across various locations. Responsibilities

Safely operate flatbed lorries for the transportation of goods to designated locations.
Ensure timely delivery of products while adhering to schedules and routes.
Conduct pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections to maintain safety standards.
Secure loads appropriately on the flatbed to prevent movement during transit.
Complete all necessary documentation accurately, including delivery notes and logs.
Maintain communication with the dispatch team regarding delivery status and any issues encountered.
Follow all road safety regulations and company policies during operations.

Skills

Proven experience in driving commercial vehicles, particularly flatbed lorries.
Strong understanding of road safety regulations and best practices in commercial driving.
Excellent organisational skills with the ability to plan efficient routes.
Good communication skills for liaising with clients and team members.
Ability to handle physically demanding tasks, including securing loads on flatbeds.
Valid driving licence suitable for operating large commercial vehicles, with a clean driving record.
