We’re a small team of dedicated and passionate individuals, providing our clients with the best service and care for their pets, but just as important as that, we look after our team, the foundation of our practice.
We’re looking for the right person to join our growing team in providing payroll and book-keeping support to our Practice Manager and the Directors.
Would suit someone who is qualified and experienced in payroll and book-keeping looking to return to work on a part-time basis, but sees themself as working as part of a fantastic team making a difference in Wimborne.
Here’s what we need from you:
· Manage and process monthly payroll (Bright Pay) including collation of overtime
· Statutory payments including holiday, SSP, SMP, SPP
· Auto-enrolment Pensions
· Support HR resources including employee remuneration, benefits administration and compliance
· Book-keeping (Xero) reconciliations, invoices, payments, journals
· HMRC correspondence including VAT returns
· Assist in producing reports as required by the Directors on a monthly basis
· Banking – daily cashing-up (no cash), monitoring petty cash
· Other business administration duties when needed
· Answering client calls and queries
· Strong attention to detail and accuracy, and a great work ethic
· Demonstrate a good standard of numeracy and literacy
· Ability to communicate well both in-person, on the telephone with clients and team members, as well as email
· Passion and the desire to succeed with like-minded people
