Full job description

Glasgow Footcare is a busy, friendly podiatry clinic looking for a reliable and organised Receptionist to join our small team.

This is a key role within the clinic and requires someone who can work independently, provide excellent customer service and support the smooth day-to-day running of the clinic.

Hours: 22.5 hours per week across 3 days:

Tuesday: 9:00am – 5:00pm
Thursday: 10:00am – 6:00pm
Friday: 9:00am – 5:00pm

Key responsibilities:

Opening and closing the clinic
Managing appointments and diary bookings
Greeting patients and handling enquiries
Answering telephone calls, emails and online messages
Processing payments
Maintaining accurate patient records
Keeping the reception area organised and welcoming

Essential skills:

Excellent communication and customer service skills
Good organisational and IT skills
Ability to multitask and prioritise work and maintain confidentiality
Confident using computer systems and appointment booking software
Ability to work independently and as part of a small team

Desirable:

Previous reception, healthcare experience or customer service
Experience using appointment booking systems
