Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and reliable Bathroom and Kitchen Fitter specialising in home renovation projects. The successful candidate will be responsible for installing, repairing, and refurbishing bathrooms and kitchens to high standards. This role requires a practical individual with a strong understanding of plumbing, carpentry, and mechanical systems, committed to delivering quality workmanship in a timely manner.

Duties

Installing bathroom suites, including baths, showers, basins, and toilets with precision and attention to detail
Fitting kitchen units, worktops, appliances, and associated fixtures
Conducting plumbing tasks such as connecting water supplies and drainage systems
Using hand tools and power tools safely for cutting, fixing, and assembling components
Performing welding tasks where necessary to secure fittings or structural elements
Applying carpentry skills for framing, boxing-in pipes, or creating custom fittings
Ensuring all installations meet current safety standards and building regulations
Heavy lifting of materials and equipment to facilitate installations
Maintaining a clean and organised work environment throughout each project

Requirements

Proven experience in bathroom fitting, kitchen fitting or related home renovation trades
Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment
Strong plumbing skills with knowledge of water systems and drainage
Mechanical knowledge relevant to appliance installation and maintenance
Basic maths skills for measurements and calculations during fitting processes
Carpentry expertise for framing, boxing-in pipes, or custom cabinetry work
Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently
Valid driving licence for commercial driving purposes is desirable but not essential
Excellent organisational skills with an eye for detail to ensure high-quality finishes
Good communication skills to liaise effectively with clients and team members

Candidates must be organised, safety-conscious, and capable of working independently or as part of a team. Previous experience in residential or commercial renovation projects will be highly regarded. All roles are paid positions.

Pay: £70.00-£180.00 per day
