Full job description

Job Advert

The role of Sales Support Analyst at Liberty Wines is to provide actionable analysis and support to key commercial teams including sales, portfolio (buying and brand management), trade marketing and others across the business. The role includes reporting on product, supplier and customer data while managing and developing tools for commercial teams.

What will you be doing

Assist in all areas of Sales Support work including:

Develop appropriate data sets and tools to support sales and other Liberty Wines teams
Analyse trade marketing activity to measure return on investment and support strategic planning and decision-making
Analyse market and internal performance data to understand opportunities and threats to Liberty Wines
Work alongside the sales teams, including national accounts,to use analysis to grow sales with key customers
Manage and support development of the vintage change notification process, to ensure customers receive timely communication of upcoming price and vintage changes
Maintain, improve and create analysis, reporting and other tools used by the commercial teams and our customers
Assist with day-to-day requests from sales team and provide back-office support using all Liberty systems and information

About you

Advanced Excel skills, including complex formulas and functions
Comfortable manipulating large datasets to display information in a clear manner (using pivot tables and other techniques)
Some SQL knowledge and exposure to Power BI reporting is strongly advantageous
Proficient with other Microsoft packages (Outlook,Wordand PowerPoint)
Excellent attention to detail and high standards of customer service
Highly organised, flexible, self-motivated, and responsive
Strong written and verbal communication skills and a collaborative team player
A good understanding of the wine industry /wine knowledge (and WSET qualifications) is beneficial
