CLASS 1 HGV DRIVER REQUIRED

Location: Widnes, Cheshire
Salary: £16.00 per hour
Hours: Monday to Friday, 7:45am – 4:00pm (37.5 hours per week minimum)

Palltech Pallets Ltd is looking for an experienced and reliable Class 1 (C+E) HGV Driver to join our growing transport operation based from our Widnes depot.

This role involves the delivery and collection of empty pallets from businesses across the North West and North Wales, whilst also supporting our Chester Services operation throughout the working day when required.

The Role

Delivering and collecting empty pallets from customer sites.
Operating modern Class 1 articulated vehicles with curtain-sided trailers.
Completing vehicle checks and transport documentation accurately.
Providing excellent customer service at collection and delivery points.
Supporting both our Widnes and Chester operations as required.

Requirements

Valid Class 1 (C+E) Licence.
Valid Driver CPC and Digital Tachograph Card.
Previous Class 1 driving experience is essential.
Good understanding of drivers' hours and working time regulations.
Professional, reliable and customer-focused attitude.
Flexible approach to working hours to meet customer requirements.
Strong safety awareness and attention to detail.
