We are currently recruiting dedicated Care Assistants / Healthcare Assistants to support both children and adults with complex needs.

Available Role: Wigan – Day / Night - Bank Shifts Available

Client: TBC on successful appointment
Hours Available: Monday to Sunday both Days and Nights
Pay: ranging between: £12.71 - £14.29 per hour

About The Role

Role-Specific Responsibilities

Clinical and Non Clinical/Holistic Intervention required (Full training given)
Personal care and daily living support
Encouraging independence and creative interests
Using and supporting communication aids
Liaising with family members and professionals
Wigan – Days & Nights

Clients: Adults and Children with complex needs

Hours:

Monday–Sunday days & nights
Part time and full time shifts available

Pay: £12.71 – £14.29 per hour
(Higher rates for nights & weekends)

Role-Specific Responsibilities

Personal care and daily living support
Clinical and Non-clinical Intervetion and Holistic Care delivery required
Monitoring and reporting health changes
Emotional support and companionship

Duties include:

Key Responsibilities (All Roles)

Deliver compassionate, person-centred care in line with care plans
Assist with personal care, mobility, nutrition, and daily activities
Promote independence, dignity, and emotional wellbeing
Maintain accurate care documentation
Build trusting relationships with clients and families
Follow all health & safety regulations and company policies

What We’re Looking For

✔ At least 6 months of care experience in the UK
✔ Experience working with either or both: adults and children, or individuals with complex needs (desirable, not essential)
✔ A compassionate, patient, and dependable approach
✔ Strong verbal and written English skills
✔ Ability to work both independently and within a team
✔ Basic IT skills for completing documentation
✔ Enhanced DBS (or willingness to obtain one)
✔ Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle (preferred)
