As our business continues to grow, we're looking for a reliable and enthusiastic Kitchen Assistant to join our friendly and supportive production team.

This is a full-time role working 4 days per week, with 10-hour shifts between Monday and Friday on a rotating basis. The position is initially offered on a temporary basis until Christmas, but for the right person there is a genuine opportunity to become a permanent member of our team.
About the Role
As a Kitchen Assistant, you'll play an important part in helping us produce the high-quality products we're known for. You'll work alongside an experienced team in our busy commercial kitchen, learning every aspect of the production process.
No need to worry if you don't have all the qualifications yet – we'll provide full training, including:
- Level 2 Food Hygiene in Manufacturing
- Manual Handling Training
- HACCP Level 2
What You'll Be Doing
- Preparing ingredients and assisting with cooking
- Filling, labelling and packing jars
- Recording production information accurately
- Helping to maintain a clean, safe and hygienic working environment
- Following food safety standards and company procedures at all times
- Supporting your teammates to ensure production runs smoothly
What We're Looking For
We're looking for someone who:
- Has a positive attitude and enjoys working as part of a team
- Takes pride in doing a job well
- Can work efficiently and accurately in a busy environment
- Has a good understanding of hygiene and cleanliness
- Communicates well with others
- Has previous food manufacturing experience (preferred, but not essential)
Hours & Benefits
- 4 days per week
- 10-hour shifts, typically 6:00am – 4:00pm
- Monday to Friday rotation (no weekends)
- Closed on Bank Holidays
- Closed over Christmas
- Full training provided
