Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Legal Assistant to join our civil litigation team. The successful candidate will provide essential support to our legal department, ensuring smooth administrative operations and assisting with case management. Responsibilities

Assist with the preparation and organisation of legal documents, files, and correspondence.
Conduct research and analysis to support legal cases and projects.
Manage schedules, appointments, and deadlines for legal professionals.
Liaise with clients, courts, and external agencies to facilitate communication and information exchange.
Maintain accurate records of case files and ensure confidentiality at all times.
Provide administrative support including drafting letters, filing documents, and handling incoming enquiries.
Support the team during meetings by preparing agendas and taking minutes as required.
Ensure compliance with organisational policies and legal procedures at all times.

Experience

Previous administrative experience, ideally within a legal or professional services environment and specifically within civil litigation.
Strong analysis skills with the ability to interpret complex information accurately.
Excellent organisational skills with the capacity to manage multiple tasks efficiently under tight deadlines.
Proven customer service skills with a professional approach to client interactions.
Familiarity with legal terminology, procedures, or software is desirable but not essential; training will be provided.
