Job Role – Quality Inspector

Contract – Permanent

Full Time – 39 Hours

Quality Inspector

Location:Tritton Road, Lincoln, LN6 7QY Full-time Permanent Salary: £16.00 - £18.00 Per Hour.

We're looking for a detail-driven Quality Inspector to join our production team and help us maintain the high standards our customers expect. If you have a sharp eye, a methodical mindset, and pride yourself on getting things right, we want to hear from you.

What You'll Do

Inspect incoming materials, in-process production, and finished goods against specifications and quality standards
Identify, document, and report non-conformances, and work with production teams to resolve root causes
Conduct first-article inspections and approve samples before full production runs
Maintain accurate inspection records, test reports, and quality documentation
Operate and calibrate measuring equipment and gauges
Support internal and external audits
Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives across the site

What We're Looking For

Proven experience in a quality inspection or QC role, ideally in manufacturing/engineering.
Familiarity with relevant quality standard ISO 9001
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, specifications, and work instructions
Proficient with measurement tools calipers, micrometers.
Strong attention to detail and the confidence to raise concerns when something isn't right
Good communication skills — you'll work closely with production, engineering, and suppliers

Nice to Have

Experience with statistical process control or lean/Six Sigma principles
A relevant qualification in quality, engineering, or a related field
Auditor training (internal or supplier)

Package

Salary

Salary is negotiable based on previous experience and the individual’s abilities.

Working Hours

Monday to Thursday 07:30 – 16:30
Friday 07:30 – 12:30

Note that overtime may be required occasionally based on customer demands and workload. This overtime may be before or after the working hours stated above.
