Job Title: Female Personal Assistant / Carer – Wilmslow (SK9) – £16 per hour

Location: Wilmslow, SK9

Pay: £16 per hour

Job Type: Permanent / Part-Time

About the Role

We are looking for reliable, caring, and flexible female Personal Assistants / Carers to join a small, friendly, long-established team supporting one lady with a high-level spinal injury in her own home.

This is a rewarding role where you will provide personalised care and support, helping maintain independence, wellbeing, and quality of life. You will become part of a dedicated team that works closely together, providing continuity of care in a calm and supportive environment.

This is not agency work. We are looking for people seeking a long-term position and who value building a trusted working relationship.

Applicants living within a reasonable commuting distance of Wilmslow are preferred to help ensure reliability and continuity of care.

Shifts Available

A variety of shifts are available, including:

Morning: 08:00 – 14:00
Day: 08:00 – 20:00
Afternoon: 14:00 – 20:00
Twilight: 20:00 – 02:30/03:00
Waking Night: 23:00 – 08:00

Some weekend work is required.

Main Duties

Personal care and support with daily living activities
Manual handling and mobility assistance
Bowel care
Medication prompting and administration
Physiotherapy and exercise support
Meal preparation and feeding support
Monitoring wellbeing and reporting concerns
Maintaining equipment and a safe environment
Accurate record keeping and handovers
Responding calmly and appropriately in emergencies

What We're Looking For

Reliable, punctual, and committed
Calm, organised, and adaptable
Caring, respectful, and professional
Able to work well as part of a small team
Full UK driving licence essential
Confident driving an adapted vehicle (training provided if required)
Non-smoker
Good spoken and written English
Previous care experience helpful but not essential as full training will be provided
