We’re looking for a dedicated and ambitious Demi Chef de Partie to join our award-winning team at Dormy House Hotel & Spa — one of the Cotswolds’ most recognised boutique luxury hotels.

Dormy House is home to 3 AA Rosette dining at The Back Garden and our Michelin-featured chef’s table, MO. As Demi Chef de Partie, you’ll work alongside a skilled, supportive brigade under the guidance of Michelin-starred Culinary Director Martin Burge, giving you the perfect environment to build confidence, refine core techniques and grow into your next role.

As a Demi CDP, you’ll work as part of a close-knit, supportive brigade under the guidance of Michelin-starred Culinary Director Martin Burge, giving you the perfect environment to build confidence, refine your core skills and progress your career.

You’ll be joining a calm, well-organised and well-equipped kitchen where quality, teamwork and consistency are at the heart of everything we do. If you’re keen to develop your craft and enjoy working with fresh, seasonal produce, this is a brilliant next step.

What you’ll be doing:

Supporting your section to deliver consistently high-quality dishes
Preparing ingredients and assisting with mise en place and service
Working closely with senior chefs to learn and develop
Maintaining excellent food hygiene and kitchen cleanliness
Helping to keep service smooth, efficient and professional
Contributing to stock control, prep and organisation

What we’re looking for:

Experience working with fresh, seasonal produce in a quality-led kitchen
A strong work ethic and commitment to learning
A reliable, positive and professional approach
Good communication and teamwork skills
A desire to grow and progress in a structured, supportive environment

The details:

£35,692 per year
Plus share of gratuities (approximately £3,000–£3,500)
Approximately £39,000 total earnings
48 hours per week
Meals on duty and uniform provided
Live-in accommodation available
