Marketing Assistant

NO AGENCIES AND NO DIRECT PHONE CALLS TO THE OFFICE PLEASE

Role Purpose

The Marketing Assistant provides administrative and practical support to the Marketing & Communications Manager across InterRegs' marketing, customer communications and lead generation activities. The role helps ensure day-to-day marketing tasks are completed efficiently, customer records remain accurate and prospective customers receive timely communications.

Role Objective

To support the delivery of marketing campaigns, customer communications and sales administration, enabling the Marketing & Communications Manager to focus on strategic marketing, business development and commercial activities.

Key Responsibilities

Sales & Lead Administration

Update and maintain prospect and customer records within the CRM.
Support prospecting activities using LinkedIn Sales Navigator to identify and connect with potential customers.
Assist with follow-up communications after enquiries, demonstrations, quotations and exhibitions.
Pass potential sales opportunities to the Marketing & Communications Manager where appropriate.

Customer Communications

Assist with customer journey communications for new InterRegs.NET and SelectRegs customers.
Send customer feedback surveys and record responses.
Process catalogue index requests accurately and within agreed timescales.
Liaise with Customer Services to ensure customer enquiries are dealt with promptly.

Marketing Support

Assist with the preparation and scheduling of email marketing campaigns.
Support LinkedIn, X and other social networking activity by scheduling posts and monitoring engagement.
Upload website news and marketing content.
Proofread and format marketing documents, presentations and promotional material.
Assist in preparing the monthly InterRegs Update Bulletin.

Events & Exhibitions

Help prepare marketing materials for exhibitions, webinars and events.
Assist with exhibition administration, logistics and promotional items.
Support post-event follow-up communications and CRM updates.

Administration

Maintain accurate marketing and customer records in the CRM in accordance with GDPR requirements.
Provide general administrative support to the Marketing & Communications Manager.
Assist with other marketing activities as required.

Skills & Experience

Essential

Good written and verbal communication skills.
Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
Competent in Microsoft Office, particularly Outlook, Word and Excel.
Willingness to learn CRM systems and marketing software.
Comfortable communicating with customers by email, telephone and social networking platforms
Ability to manage a varied workload and meet deadlines.
Professional, reliable and customer-focused.

Desirable

Experience of using LinkedIn, LinkedIn Sales Navigator or X.
Experience of email marketing platforms.
Experience in an administrative, customer service or marketing support role.
Interest in B2B marketing.

Able to work independently as well as part of a small team.
