Full job description

Do you have experience gardening/landscaping? Do you have a passion for delivering excellent service? Do you thrive in a fast-paced environment and take pride in your work? Linthwaite House, part of the Leeu Collection’s luxury hospitality portfolio, is looking for a dedicated gardener to join our team at our beautiful hotel overlooking Lake Windermere.

This role does not provide accommodation -Salary negotiable dependant on experience

Gardener Requirements:

Previous gardening and/or landscaping experience is desirable
Able to carry out physically demanding tasks, including lifting, bending, and working outdoors in various weather conditions
Able to safely operate a range of gardening equipment to a high standard
Excellent communication skills and ability to work independently
Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
Ability to work well under pressure, especially during busy periods
Flexible availability, including weekends
Live-out position

Responsibilities:

All aspects of routine gardening tasks to include:
Lawn care - Grass cutting, scarifying, fertilising
Hedge cutting
Autumn strimming and clearing of meadow areas
Routine clearing of leaves
Weeding
Pruning
Planting
Assisting with the daily maintenance of 6 hot tubs (Full training will be given)
Assist the property maintenance team as required
Work collaboratively with the wider team to ensure smooth operations
Adhere to all health and safety regulations to ensure a safe environment for both guests and staff
Ensure that all work is completed while minimising disruption to guests
