We are looking for Events Casual Support staff to assist the Wisley Public Programming Team to deliver a wide range of events from large-scale events for the public, to weddings, private events and family friendly activities during the school holidays.
The ideal candidate would have a friendly nature and a ‘can do’ attitude, willing to be hands on and help out wherever is needed. Much of the role will be customer facing, but support is also needed for the set-up of events including preparation of materials, laying out furniture or installing signage. This role also involves preparing the garden ready for the event, directing visitors and answering their queries, assisting with the delivery of activities, assisting with crowd control and helping us to deliver outstanding customer service.
The work is flexible and staff are able to sign up for jobs across the three teams dependent on their own availability, skillset and interest in each area. In particular, the team are looking for candidates who are available to support us at the weekends.
All relevant training will be provided. Event experience is desirable but not essential.
