The Role

As a Welder Fabricator, you'll be responsible for carrying out high-quality fabrication, welding and repair work on HGVs, trailers and commercial vehicles while ensuring every job is completed safely and to the highest standard.

Key responsibilities include:

Carrying out MIG, TIG and Stick welding to a high standard.
Fabricating and repairing HGVs, trailers and commercial vehicle components.
Reading and interpreting engineering drawings and fabrication specifications.
Using profile cutting and fabrication equipment safely and efficiently.
Inspecting completed welds and carrying out quality checks.
Maintaining a clean, safe and organised working environment.
Working closely with the workshop team to meet deadlines.
Following all health and safety procedures.

About You

We're looking for an experienced Welder Fabricator who takes pride in producing quality workmanship.

Ideally, you'll have:

A minimum of 5 years' welding and fabrication experience.
Experience with MIG, TIG and Stick welding.
Experience using profile cutting equipment.
Mechanical experience working on HGVs, trailers or commercial vehicles would be highly advantageous.
The ability to fabricate, repair and modify steel structures and components.
Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work.
Good organisational and time management skills.
The ability to work independently and as part of a team.
A full UK driving licence is advantageous but not essential.
