About the role
Within Civil Enforcement, we manage On Street Parking and ANPR enforcement within the county. The Council are about to implement a trial of 6 traffic filters, which we hope will reduce congestion. This role has been created to work within the ANPR enforcement team that will manage the new traffic filters.
Key Responsibilities:

Processing representations received from motorists who have received a Penalty Charge Notice (PCN).

Speaking to motorists over the telephone or in writing, regarding their PCN and/or taking payments for PCNs or permits.

Dealing with PCNs that have progressed to debt registration/Enforcement Agent stage.
About you
As a Civil Enforcement Assistant Officer, you’ll need to be able to work within strict timescales, ensuring representations are dealt with in a timely manner. You will be liaising with customers, contractors, partners, and colleagues so need to be confident in doing so. It's key that you can provide excellent customer service and have an aptitude for working collaboratively with colleagues and partners in problem-solving and making informed and insightful decisions.
Prior knowledge of parking processes and legislation is not required, although you will need the ability and willingness to learn.
It is key that you are a team player – we are a supportive team, and we all assist each other to keep things running smoothly.
