Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable and professional Delivery Driver to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for safely transporting goods to various locations, ensuring timely deliveries, and maintaining excellent customer service. This role offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic environment with a focus on efficiency and safety.

Duties

Load and unload items, ensuring proper handling and securement of cargo
Follow delivery routes efficiently to optimise time and fuel consumption
Collect proof of delivery from customers upon completion of each drop
Maintain accurate delivery records and documentation
Conduct routine vehicle inspections and report any maintenance issues promptly
Adhere to all road safety regulations and company policies during deliveries
Provide exceptional customer service by maintaining professionalism and courtesy during interactions

Qualifications

Valid driving licence suitable for operating commercial vehicles
Strong knowledge of driving regulations and safety procedures in the UK
Excellent organisational skills with the ability to plan effectively
Good physical fitness to handle loading, unloading, and manoeuvring cargo
Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently with minimal supervision
Ability to communicate clearly and professionally with customers and team members

This role is ideal for individuals who are committed to safe driving practices and delivering exceptional service. We value organised, responsible drivers who take pride in their work and contribute positively to our team.

This job role is currently a self employed role.
