Full job description

Full-time lead receptionist/administrator required to support a busy multi-disciplinary clinic in Taunton.

Requirements: Excellent IT and communication skills together with a good touch typing speed are essential for this role.

Patient care is of utmost importance therefore the ideal applicant would be someone whom is warm, approachable and highly professional.

Daily Tasks include but are not limited to:

Performing receptionist duties throughout the day as necessary, acting as first point of contact for patients, answering queries, booking appointments, responding to emails
Answering phone calls and providing detailed information about the services offered
Managing patient records, replenishing stock, cash handling and any other tasks set down by the Practice Manager and/or Owner.
Reviewing and ensuring the implementation of the Health and Safety Policy including carrying out fire drills and ensuring record keeping is up to date.
Work closely with the Practice Manager to ensure the smooth running of the clinic.

A motivated, flexible and enthusiastic individual whom works well, both individually and as part of a team.
Developed organisational skills with the ability to meet deadlines, planning and prioritising individual workload.
Ability to deal sensitively with private and confidential information.
Ability to work from instruction, making use of initiative when necessary and to identify emerging problems and situations, referring on to others as required.
Developed interpersonal and communication skills to build a rapport, with empathy to work with all levels and competencies.
Confident and clear telephone manner.
A strong commitment to patient care and the ability to deliver this in a professional manner.
Meticulous eye for detail.
An honest, friendly and open approach with high levels of integrity.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Salary: £31 000 - £34 000 per annum - depending on experience

Hours:

Monday - Friday: 08h30 - 17h30
