Maintenance Manager – Index House, Ascot

Salary: £26,000 – £32,000 (DOE)
Location: Ascot, Berkshire

Index House is a modern, well‑maintained serviced office building in the heart of Ascot. We provide a professional, welcoming environment for our clients and pride ourselves on exceptional service standards. We are now seeking a proactive, reliable Maintenance Manager to take ownership of the building’s day‑to‑day upkeep and client support.

About the Role

This is a hands‑on, varied position ideal for someone who enjoys practical work, problem‑solving, and interacting with customers. You will ensure the building remains safe, functional, and presentable at all times while delivering a friendly, professional service to tenants.

Key Responsibilities

General Maintenance — Carry out routine repairs, inspections, and upkeep across the building.
Health & Safety Compliance — Support statutory checks, maintain logs, and ensure safe working practices.
Customer Support — Assist tenants with minor issues and provide a calm, helpful, professional presence.
Contractor Coordination — Liaise with external engineers and service providers when specialist work is required.
Facilities Presentation — Maintain high standards of cleanliness, tidiness, and functionality throughout the site.

About You

Excellent command of English with clear, confident communication skills.
Customer‑focused and able to build positive relationships with tenants.
Broad maintenance skill set covering general repairs, basic electrical/plumbing awareness, and practical problem‑solving.
Organised and reliable with strong attention to detail.
Experience in facilities, property management, hospitality, or a similar hands‑on role is beneficial.
