Full job description

Job Summary

We run a very busy cafe near to Bilston and we are always seeking experienced cafe cooks to carry out the duties below.

Duties

Prepare and cook a range of food items according to specified recipes and standards
Cook food on a griddle (e.g. bacon)
Cook food in fryers (e.g. hash browns)
Prepare orders to a good standard
Maintain a hygenic work area
Clean and tidy as required
Take orders face to face, over the phone and liaise with delivery partners
Move and rotate stock

Requirements

Proven experience in food preparation, cooking, or a similar role within a café or restaurant setting
Knowledge of food safety standards and best practices in kitchen hygiene
Ability to work efficiently under pressure whilst maintaining attention to detail

Shifts are typically 5 or 6 hours long. If you message us with your experience and how many hours per week you require, we can try to accommodate. Interviews are a short trial shift so, if you can't cook and/or have no cafe experience, you're wasting your time!

Pay: £12.71 per hour
