Job Role - Deputy Manager

Homes We are Currently Recruiting For - Wednesfield - You will be part of a Brand New Team re-opening our home!

Provision – Registered 3 Bed, EBD home

Salary - £18.21 per hour - £19.04 per hour DOE, Any sleep in's are paid at £60

Report to – Registered Manager

Working Pattern: A mix of shifts and Admin days

Hazelmont have an exciting opportunity for a Deputy Manager to join our company, as it transitions and grows. We have 2 established Childrens Homes across Willenhall (Not in Coventry) & Walsall and are looking forward to the re-opening of our Wednesfield home!

The key duties

Our Deputy Manager will work alongside our Registered Manager in our Homes in maintaining its quality led service and ensuring all Children's Homes Regulations including Quality Standards and Ofsted inspection framework outcomes are fully compliant, operating within the legal parameters.

Being a Deputy Manager holds a lot of responsibility. These include but are not limited to:

Having responsibility for the running of your shift as the main point of call.
Having the responsibility of decision making in line with policy and procedure and the individual child’s risk assessment.
To ensure the homes documentation is complete, accurate, and kept up to date in accordance with policy and procedure.
To promote therapeutic practice within the home in line with our PACE model and lead a team on a day-to-day basis.
To be a positive role model for the children of the home.
To feel empowered and confident within your position.
To show consistency and commitment to your assigned role.

Qualifications and Skills

Ideally have been in a Deputy Role within a Childrens Home
MUST have expereince of being in a Senior/Team Leader Role
MUST have or be working towards the Level 5 Diploma Leadership & Management in Residential Care

The successful applicant will be required to undergo an enhanced disclosure from the Disclosure and Barring Service.
