Job Overview
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Relief/Bank Care Assistant days and nights to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality care to residents in a care home setting, ensuring their comfort, dignity, and well-being. This role requires effective communication skills and the ability to follow care plans while working collaboratively with other healthcare professionals.

Duties

Assist residents with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
Support residents in maintaining their independence while providing necessary assistance.
Help with meal preparation and feeding when required.
Monitor and report any changes in residents' health or behaviour to the nursing staff.
Maintain accurate records of care provided and assist in the development of care plans.
Engage residents in social activities to promote mental well-being and companionship.
Ensure a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for all residents.
Drive to different locations if required for home care services.

Skills

Experience in a care home or home care setting is preferred but not essential.
Strong communication skills in English, both verbal and written.
Ability to follow care plans accurately and provide personalised support to residents.
Basic IT skills for record keeping and communication purposes.
A caring and empathetic nature with a passion for helping others.
Ability to work effectively as part of a team while also being self-motivated.
