The Crown Prosecution Service is recruiting a Victim Liaison Officer based in Hull, Leeds or Sheffield. If you’re looking for a career with real purpose, this is an opportunity for you.

As the principal prosecuting authority across England and Wales, the nature and diversity of cases we advise on and prosecute means our work is often emotionally challenging and complex. About the role

As a Victim Liaison Officer, you provide support to victims of crime through effective verbal and written communications. You help victims to understand the decisions we make, the role of the Crown Prosecution Service and wider criminal justice system, and their rights during the legal process. You manage sensitive and challenging conversations in a calm, empathetic and professional way.

About you

You don’t need specific qualifications to apply – if you share our values and commitment to public service, we’d like to hear from you. Experience in working with victims of crime, or a customer service environment, is desirable but not required.
