We have an exciting opportunity for a Primary Care Nurse (Bank) to join our Unscheduled Care Team at HMP Pentonville, a category B Prison located in London.

HMP Pentonville is a male prison that has a capacity for 1200 inmates, it is a remand prison for inmates awaiting trial. Well situated in London and is 10 minutes from Kings Cross station. Free parking.

Hours

Nighy shifts are

20:30 -8:00

Days will be required hours range between:

7:30 - 21:00

Salary

This position is Bank you’ll receive a rate of up to £26.05

What you'll be doing

As a Primary Care Nurse, your responsibilities will vary. You will:

Work Within a multi-disciplinary team to deliver a nurse led service and prevent hospital admissions.
Undertake medication rounds, dispense controlled medication, attend emergency response situations, assess patients, and undertake reception screening.
Use your skills and knowledge to deliver nurse led clinics to your patient group whilst being supported by a multi-disciplinary team.
Contribute to our nursing strategy and vision to; Provide outstanding evidence based care to our patients, seeking out, listening to and acting on their feedback, so that care is personalised and informed by what matters to them.
