Shooting Stars Nursery – Stourbridge, West Midlands, DY8 1TT
£14.10 per hour | Full-time, 40 hours per week

Monday–Friday | 7:30am–6:00pm
All year round | Bank holidays off

Exciting Opportunity Due to Nursery Expansion!

Due to expansion of our nursery, Shooting Stars Stourbridge is excited to welcome a new Early Years Nursery Practitioner to our friendly and supportive team.

This is a rare and fantastic opportunity for a caring and enthusiastic practitioner who is passionate about giving children the very best start in life and wants to be part of a thriving nursery environment where both children and staff are encouraged to flourish.

Our Stourbridge nursery provides a warm, welcoming and nurturing environment, with strong leadership, supportive colleagues and excellent opportunities for development and progression within our well-established nursery group.

About the Role

As an Early Years Nursery Practitioner, you play an important role in supporting children’s learning, development and wellbeing through engaging, child-led experiences. You will help create a safe, stimulating and inclusive environment where every child feels valued, supported and inspired to learn.

What We Are Looking For

Level 3 Early Years qualification (full and relevant) – Level 2 may also be considered
Experience working within a nursery or early years setting
Good understanding of the EYFS framework and inclusive practice, including SEND support
Knowledge of safeguarding and child protection procedures
A positive, reliable and nurturing team player with a genuine passion for childcare and early years education

Your Responsibilities

Acting as a Key Person and building strong relationships with children and families
Planning and supporting fun, engaging and age-appropriate learning experiences
Creating a safe, stimulating and inclusive environment for all children
Supporting children’s learning and development through play and exploration
Building positive partnerships with parents and carers
Contributing to observations, planning and high-quality nursery practice
